Struggling to Create? Here's How I Overcome That

đź‘‹ Hey everyone,

Ever felt like creating something was the last thing you wanted to do? I get it, I've been there.

In fact, just last week, I was feeling very unmotivated and not really on top of my game.

So today, I want to share how I overcome those days and push through, because in the end, what truly matters is showing up and making progress, even when it feels tough.

Alright my friends, the other day was one of those times where everything just felt off—the weather, my mood, even my ideas.

Maybe it was just the stress of moving, getting the kids settled into a new kindergarten, and trying to juggle work—life, you know?

But I decided to show up anyway and recorded something. It didn't blow up, but it felt good.

It reminded me that the magic often happens when you push through those "off" days and just put yourself out there.

For example, when I first started out, there were countless times I felt like giving up.

But I showed up, and over time, those small efforts started to add up—leading to opportunities and connections I never expected.

Consistency isn't glamorous, but it works.

It's how we build trust, improve our craft, and grow as creators.

Honestly, that's how I built my entire brand, 'That Icelandic Guy'—just by showing up, consistently.

I'm not the best photographer or the most talented.

But I've been creating weekly videos for over 8 years, always trying to improve and pushing myself to get better with each upload and every photo.

So, next time you feel like not doing it, remember—sometimes, just showing up is enough to make the magic happen.

It's about getting the ball rolling and building progress—every little push counts.

Keep hammering my friend.
Yours truly,
ArnĂşlfur
