I Quit My 800K+ TikTok... This Is Why

I Quit My 800K+ TikTok... This Is Why

Hey everyone,

Sorry for not sending out a post last week. I’ve been really busy with some major changes in my life—I’ll share more on that later.

But today I’d like to dive into some juicy IG strategies and share with you:

  • How I’ve built my IG to over 300k followers.

  • The strategies I’m currently using.

  • How I monetize my Instagram.

Let’s dive in.

🔑 The Key to Social Media Success

I might sound like a broken record, but consistency really is key to success on social media.

And remember, consistency isn’t the same as frequency.

Consistency means sticking to it long-term, while frequency is about how often you do it.

For me, the most critical factor has been posting consistently for 8 years without stopping.

🕒 Optimal Posting Frequency

The current landscape of social media favors frequent posting.

However, that doesn’t mean you should sacrifice quality just to post more often.

Aim for the best quality you can manage as often as you can—that’s been the winning formula for me.

Personally, posting 3-5 times a week, mixing reels and posts, works well to maintain and grow my following.

Every year I also experiment with periods of daily posting, which always results in significant spikes in followers and engagement.

So, higher frequency definitely works for me.

🤔 Can You Post Too Often?

I’m not sure.

My experiments with daily posting for extended periods have been highly successful.

Ben from Life Through Optics posted twice a day for over a year and gained over 500K followers, which allowed him to quit his corporate job and become a full-time creative.

Does this mean we should all post that much?

Not necessarily, but if you can maintain high-quality content, frequent posting is beneficial.

Just don’t post for the sake of posting.

💰 Making That IG Mula

I occasionally do sponsored content, which is the most obvious revenue stream.

It can be quite lucrative.

But mostly, I make sure to promote my own products at least once a week through what I call the “ask”—a shoutout to my products on stories, reels, or posts.

I also do this once a week to my other platforms as well.

Many creators hesitate to sell directly, but if you don’t actively sell your products, nobody else will.

You can’t just hide a link in your bio and hope for the best.

If you believe in your products and think they genuinely help people, then sell them! (My LUTs, Presets and Course are sick btw 😉 ).

I also keep all my promotional content organized by platform in a folder to make weekly posting straightforward.

That’s it for today! I made a video about this a while ago where I
